Restarting the blog

Alright, so I decided that since Brett will be starting his 90 hour work weeks again starting next week that it would be a good idea and good activity (aka something to take up some of my day) for me to restart our blog.

So here is the most recent updates on us:

Kendra:  So the biggest news recently is that I have taken another job! YAY!
 I have accepted a Family Practice position/Urgent Care position with Exempla Hospital system.   I have yet to figure out my start date, but have put in my notice for my current job.  I am very excited to start this new position and look forward to the challenges and rewards it brings.

Brett:  Brett just finished up his Ambulatory care rotation which has been primarily clinic...super nice  for us since we got to eat dinner together and have the weekends to spend together.  However, he will be back on "wards" for the remainder of his intern year---which translates to 90 hour work weeks, no weekends, no time off for holidays.  He enjoys the hospital rotations a lot, they are just really busy and we spend a lot of time apart :(

This weekend we are hosting our friend Denise from Savannah, GA!  She came into town for work and has been able to stay with us.  We have gotten lots of time to visit and catch up and look at wedding stuff as she is getting married in Florida in March!!

This upcoming week brings Thanksgiving and Brett and I are particularly looking forward to a visit from our helpful movers.  ALEX AND LEXI ARE COMING!!!  We are planning lots of sight seeing, shopping and food and are very thankful for their visit----look for pictures to come!!
