| Happy 4th of July!!! |
So we just recently returned from a whirlwind tour of MN/ND! It was sure fun seeing our friends and family and we miss them so much....we did realize a few things we didn't miss however! We were sure happy to say goodbye to the humidity and mosquitos!
We flew into MSP on Monday and spent the first few days in my hometown, Mora, MN just relaxing and visiting with my parents. On that Wednesday, we drove thru Alexandria and stopped to see my older sister, Kristen and her family! We spent a few hours at the park and then finished it off with lunch at Zorbaz.

After we left Alexandria, MN we drove to Cavalier, North Dakota to go and visit my grandparents, Earl and Fern Kiner. We got to see their new place and got a chance to take a few pics too! We then drove back through Grand Forks, ND ( yes it was a looong day of driving but well worth it) and we got to eat at one of our favorite restaurants---the Toasted Frog and boy did those fried cheesy pickles hit the spot! We enjoyed this with one of my best friends--Katie Bo!
We then spent the remainder of the week with Brett's family and our friends in Fargo. Brett's family hosted a BBQ at their house Friday night and we were able to see all of his grandparents, cousins and extended family. A few of my college friends were able to come up and visit too!!

We finished the weekend off by running in the Run Or Dye 5k in at the Fargo Fairgrounds Saturday morning.

We then flew out of MSP on Sunday afternoon---we were very thankful for my parents for transporting us to and from the airport and went back to Denver for the start of year two of residency! We love and miss you all!!!
